Zachary Settle

Zachary Thomas Settle serves as the editor-in-chief of The Other Journal, and he holds a PhD in theological studies from Vanderbilt’s Graduate Department of Religion. He is the co-editor of Dreams, Doubt, and Dread: The Spiritual in Film (Cascade, 2016), and he has written for publications such as Modern Theology, Augustinian Studies, and the Journal of Feminist Studies in Religion. His first book, On the Nature, Limits, Meaning, and End of Work, will be published in Bloomsbury’s popular “Reading Augustine” series in 2021. He is currently drafting a book wherein he develops an Augustinian theology of economy.
