Collider’s Steve ‘Frosty’ Weintraub reports that his TIFF interview with filmmaker Bong Joon-ho (The Host, Mother) included discussion of the director’s next project, Snow Piercer:
Bong says his next project takes place in a world covered by ice and snow. He says it’s about a group of survivors that end up on a train and we watch their journey as they struggle and fight with one another as the train is still broken up by class. Ultimately, it’s about human nature under extreme circumstances. He told me the plan is to write the film next year and to film it in 2011.
