I was recently fortunate enough to be interviewed by the ever so interesting folks down at The Christian Post. This makes two interviews with them in the last few weeks.
Yeah, I know . . . I wouldn’t trust me anymore, either.
Unlike my previous interview, A Man’s Search for Satan, (kudos to them for correctly understanding my chromosomal alignment), this one wanted my opinion on Christian Weidemannon’s take on extra-terrestrial life and Christian theology.
Well, hey . . . at least they took a half-second break from talking about the evils of homosexuality and evolution! That has to count for something, right? (Unfortunately, you don’t have to search too long in the comments to see how quickly CP readers are capable of getting back to the perpetually-demanding subject of how evolution equals atheism.)
So, here it is–it’s called, Did Jesus Die for Klingons, too?
Why this dude has a thing for Star Trek is beyond me.
Star Wars is clearly a superior universe.
Nerdiness aside, as you can see, I told them that until Christians can figure out what to do with aliens here in our own midst then there is little hope for how to think about whatever is swimming under the icy surface of Saturn’s moon, Enceladus. I just hope whatever it is, it’s more octopuses . . . but octopuses without a beak who want to be my friend. That would be a beautiful world.
Well, that and a world inhabited by dancing Twi’leks sporting dual lightsabers who are constantly flirting with the dark side.
That would be pretty cool, too.
