This essay analyzes several examples of Christian political theology in order to show how their strength, humility, memory, and solidarity are contingent on prayer.
Andrew Prevot will be starting as an assistant professor of systematic theology at Boston College in January 2013. He is currently completing his dissertation at the University of Notre Dame, entitled Thinking Prayer: Doxology, Spirituality, and the Crises of Modernity. His research interests include philosophical theology; political, liberation, and black theologies; and the constructive study of spirituality and mysticism.
