Hilary Jerome Scarsella is a Louisville Institute Fellow with a PhD in religion from Vanderbilt University. Her research focuses on the interconnections between theology, gender, violence, and trauma. She is the director of theological integrity at Into Account, an organization that specializes in addressing sexual violence in Christian-connected contexts and in supporting survivors.
