Howard Schaap is an associate professor of English at Dordt College and a blogger for Relief Journal and Off the Page. He holds an MA in English literature from South Dakota State University and an MFA in creative nonfiction from Seattle Pacific University. Howard lives with his wife, Sy, and three children in Edgerton, Minnesota, on the tall grass prairie landscape where they both grew up and learned to appreciate the craft of the jump shot.
