Julie M. Hamilton views the embodied art of Lia Chavez in the light of ancient spiritual practices.
Julie M. Hamilton, a Baylor bear and Duke theology grad, is originally from central Texas and currently resides in Durham, North Carolina. Her creative hustle has ranged from galleries and nonprofit arts organizations, to academic research, writing, and university development. She has been a staff writer for the Curator Magazine and has contributed to Religions and SEEN. She tamps espresso, adores baseball, and can usually be found watching films at the Carolina Theatre.
