Karen Brummund reflects on how the experience of art defies expectations.
Karen Brummund is an installation artist who works with video, architecture, and the environment. Her ephemeral public artworks are produced for sites all over the world including, Casa Poli in Chile, the Sirius Art Center in Ireland, and the Burchfield Penney Art Center in Buffalo, New York. The New York Foundation for the Arts, Atlanta Celebrates Photography, and the Experimental Television Center are among the numerous institutions to award her fellowships or grants for her work.
