Curator Meaghan Ritchey reflects on the specificity of place in Havana, Cuba, as seen through the lens of Rob Jefferson’s photography.
Meaghan Ritchey is Commonweal magazine’s director of community and events. Her small consultancy, MaKeR Projects, assists arts organizations with programming and events, and she teaches in the Film and Digital Media Studies Program at Baylor in New York. Ritchey is also the former director of global community and programs at International Arts Movement and the former publisher of the Curator, an online arts magazine. As a West Texas native finding her way around the South Bronx, pieces about regional distinctiveness are her favorite to write.
