Mia Pohlman is the writer and editor of special publications at Rustmedia, a marketing agency in the Midwest. She completed a Fulbright English teaching fellowship in Athens, Greece, and earned MAs in English and secondary education from Truman State University where she completed a multigenre thesis on motherhood, Catholicism, and her family’s roots on a Missouri century farm. Pohlman’s writing has been published in the Southeast Missourian, St. Louis Review, and Flourish, and her work is forthcoming in Presence: A Journal of Catholic Poetry and Midwest Review.
