Sister Marilyn Lacey is a Sister of Mercy and the executive director of Mercy Beyond Borders, a nonprofit that seeks to alleviate the poverty and suffering of refugees, especially women and children. In 2001, she was honored by the Dalai Lama as an “Unsung Hero of Compassion.” Lacey is also the author of a memoir, This Flowing Toward Me: A Story of God Arriving in Strangers.
